Silver Jubilee of CEC

CEC, completed its glorious 25th year on 2nd May’2019. To celebrate this achievement CEC organized a magnificent function in the Pragjyoti, ITA Auditorium, Machkhowa, Guwahati on 2nd May. In this occasion an exclusive documentary ‘The Assam Tribune – Nation Talks’, portrayed on the glorious voyage of 80 years of The Assam Tribune, the premier and oldest English daily of the North-Eastern India was also premiered in front of a large number of audience. Editor of Assam Tribune P.G. Baruah, eminent educationist Dr. Amarjyoti Choudhury and some other distinguished persons were also felicitated in this function.

The documentary – ‘The Assam Tribune- Nation Talks’ was the production of CEC. The eminent educationist and artist of Assam, Dr. Amarjyoti Choudhury is the storyteller of this documentary which showcased various exclusive interviews, visuals, memoirs  of the ‘The Assam Tribune’ revealing the challenges, pitfalls and triumphs faced in this glorious journey of 80 years.
